Teaching hours in the LT will be commensurate with a usual half unit undergraduate course but note that teaching may take a different format and/or structure in 2021/22. Students on this course will have a reading week in Week 6, in line with departmental policy.
Students will work in groups to answer an essay question through an in-class presentation and will receive structured feedback based on the criteria for marking essays (e.g. structure, evidence). Students will also be offered an essay writing workshop specific to this course.

Essay (30%, 1500 words) and class participation (10%) in the LT. Take-home assessment (60%) in the ST. The take home assessment will be a 2000 word essay which students will have one week to complete. Class participation will be based on oral representations of weekly reading summaries.
